As many parts of Australia begin to open up, health services are bracing for a surge in COVID cases over the coming months. As a result, we are preparing for an influx of healthcare workers seeking peer support, and need to build our pool of facilitators to meet the demand.
In other words - if you're interested in being a peer supporter, but don't feel you had the skills for it yet, now's the time to change that.

This 3hr online workshop will focus on the underlying principles of peer support and how to provide effective emotional support to others in your healthcare profession. It will be led by Dr. Tahnee Bridson (founder of Hand-n-Hand) and Dr. Brett McDermott (former Board Director at Beyond Blue). The session also comes with a digital booklet of take-away info, and a digital certificate upon completion.
