"#IPeerSupportBecause I have always believed in basic accessibility to mental and physical health support as a human right. This has been especially reinforced in the current trying time of the pandemic."
Tina is a psychiatry registrar at Townsville University Hospital, and provides peer support to other trainees around Australia through Hand-n-Hand as they navigate their way through the ups and downs of medical training.
"As health professionals, we are usually in a role of caring for others. Peer support provides an avenue to provide care for those who care. It is because of this, I provide peer support with Hand-n-Hand."
